PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland —The South Carolina State men's basketball team begin the first of a two-game road swing beginning with Maryland-Eastern Shore Saturday (Feb.19) in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference doubleheader at Hytche Arena.
Tipoff for the women begin at 2 p.m., with the men following in a 4 p.m. start immediately afterwards.

Darryl Palmer is the leader on the boards with 6.1 and scoring 8.2 per game. SC State is grabbing almost 33.5 rebounds a game, while forcing over 12.0 turnovers.
Despite their record, the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks (8-19 overall, 5-7 MEAC) are proven to be among the elite programs in the conference since second-year head coach Bobby Collins has taken over the helm. The Hawks have three players in double-digits with Devin Martin leading the way with 17.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Dominique Elliott is the leader on the boards with 7.8 rebounds and 14.0 points, while Bakari Copeland adds 10.1 ppg.
