Box Score CORAL GABLES, Fla.—The South Carolina State Bulldogs dropped a tough, 82-46, defeat to ACC opponent the University of Miami Tuesday (Dec. 6) at Watsco Center.

Senior guard Eric "EJ" Eaves led the Bulldogs (2-6) with a team-high 14 points, while teammate junior forward Tashombe Riley added 12 points and seven rebounds in the loss.

The Hurricanes (8-2) were led by freshman guard Bruce Brown with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assist.

Despite the loss, the Bulldogs forced Miami to a game-high 12 turnovers.

South Carolina State returns to action on Saturday (Dec.  10) with SEC foe Texas A&M in 7 p.m. (CST)/8 p.m. (EST) non-conference showdown in College Station, TX.
