Box Score CLEMSON, SC—South Carolina State dropped another tough loss to an ACC opponent in a, 93-65, decision to Clemson Tuesday (Dec. 13) at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Senior guard Eric "EJ" Eaves tossed in a team-high 20 points, hitting 3-of-4 from behind the arc. Junior forward
Tashombe Riley added 14, while senior guard
Greg Mortimer finished with 13 in the loss.
The Bulldogs shot over 50% (28-of-54) from the field in the second-half.
SC State falls to 2-8, while Clemson improves to 7-2 on the season.
South Carolina State returns to action on Friday (Dec. 16) when they take on Furman University in a non-conference matchup at Timmons Arena. Tipoff is 7 p.m.
