Box Score GREENSBORO, NC—The #10 ranked Aggies of N.C. A&T put together a late rally surge to knock off South Carolina State, 30-20, Saturday (Nov.5) at Aggie Stadium.
The Bulldogs fall to 3-5 overall, 3-2 in the MEAC, while Aggies improve to 8-1 overall, 6-0 in the league.
Sophomore quarterback
Caleb York threw 17-of-32 for 193-yards and a touchdown, while freshman De'Montrez Burroughs had a solid day receiving with seven (7) catches for 86-yards and a touchdown.

Adrian Kollock, Jr. led the rushing attack with eight (8) carries for 80-yards and a score and teammate
Bishop Ford added 66-yards on 12 rushes in the loss.
The Aggies jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead on a 15-yard run by All-American senior running back Tarik Cohen, followed by a 21-yard field goal with 3:33 remaining in the first quarter. Cohen entered the game as one of the top rushers in the nation (FCS I-AA) with 146.0 yards per game, but the Bulldog defense held the Preseason MEAC Offense Player of the Year to 47-yards rushing on the day.
SC State responded on a 17-yard touchdown run by Kollock, Jr. to close out the first quarter. The extra point was no good by
Tyler Scandrett to make the score 10-6. Redshirt sophomore Lamar Raynard 's 25-yard toss to freshman Elijah Bell gave the Aggies a 16-6 advantage in the 11:58 mark in the second quarter.
York's 41-yard strike to Burroughs pulled the Bulldogs to within three, 16-13 with 0:02 seconds remaining in the second. N.C. A&T led 16-13 during halftime.
SC State took the lead for the first time of the day on a 1-yard punch with 1:56 remaining in the third quarter. The Aggie rallied back to regain the lead on a 9-yard toss from Raynard to Bell with 5:25 remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Aggies sealed the victory on a 29-yard interception for a touchdown by redshirt junior defensive back Marquis Willis with 2:32 remaining in regulation.

South Carolina State returns to action on Saturday (Nov. 12) at home against Norfolk State at Oliver. C. Dawson Stadium in Orangeburg, SC-. Kickoff is 2 p.m.
