GREENSBORO, NC—The South Carolina State Bulldogs (3-4 overall, 3-1 in the MEAC) will hit the road for the final road game of the regular season, to battle league rival league rival the Aggies of North Carolina A&T State University (7-1 overall, 5-0 in the MEAC), Saturday (Nov. 5) at Aggie Stadium. Kickoff is 1 p.m.

SC State leads the series 12-2 against NC A&T during the Pough era. In the last meeting, the Bulldogs drop a heartbreaking 9-6 decision to the Aggies in Orangeburg, SC.

In their last outing the Bulldogs suffered their first conference loss of the season in a 28-26 loss to host Hampton at Armstrong Stadium. Freshman wide receiver De'Montrez Burroughs had a career day catching with 7 receptions for 133-yards in the loss.

Sophomore QB Caleb York leads the offense throwing 78-of-177-3 for 780-yards (111.43 ypg) and 10 touchdowns in seven (7) games. Redshirt freshman running back Bishop Ford heads the rushing attack on the ground with 87 carries for 376 yards and three (3) touchdowns. Burroughs sparks the receiving corps with 11 receptions for 202 yards, and one (1) touchdown.

All-MEAC and Preseason Defensive Player of the Year Red-shirt junior linebacker Darius Leonard spearheads the defense with a team-high 86 tackles (51 solo), 6.5 TFL and two interceptions.  Leonard leads the MEAC and is ranked among the top defenders in the FCS I-AA.  Meanwhile, teammate  and All-MEAC performer redshirt-junior linebacker Dayshawn Taylor  is second on the team in tackles behind Leonard with 59 (40 solo), 9 TFL and two (2) forced fumbles.
