ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's and women's basketball teams will host Maryland-Eastern Shore in a pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference showdown Monday (Jan.18) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Tipoff for the women begins at 5:30 p.m. with the men following immediately afterwards in a 7:30 p.m. start.
Fans who cannot attend the game in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center, can listen to the MEAC showdown on 93.7 FM the People's Station and the official station of SC State Athletics, with Paul Harris and Clarence Jones on the air for the play-by-play. There will be no video or live stats available.

The Bulldog is currently tied for 2nd place in the league standings. Meanwhile the Lady Bulldogs (7-8 overall, 3-2 MEAC) posted an impressive 61-48 victory over the Lady Hornets.
Brittany Drumgoole leads the team in scoring with 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Senior guard
Amber Howard is second with 8.3 point per outing.
