Box Score SAN FRANCISCO, Cali—The South Carolina State men's basketball team suffered another setback Sunday, 91-52, to the University of San San Francisco at Memorial Gymnasium.
Sophomore guard
Karon Wright led the Bulldogs in scoring for the second straight game with 13 points. SC State falls to 0-2 on the season, while San Francisco improves to 1-0.
The Bulldogs were outrebounded 31-49, while shooting 29% (18-of-62) from the field. Meanwhile, San Francisco was led by Kruize Pinkins with a game-high 16 points and six rebounds, while teammates Darrell Robertson and Tim Derksen each chipped in 11 in the win.
South Carolina State returns to action on Tuesday (Nov. 18) when they take on last season's ACC Champion the University of Virginia. Tipoff is 7 p.m.
