Bulldogs Hold Pro Timing Day Wednesday At Dawson Stadium

ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State football program will hold its annual Pro Timing Day at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium on Wednesday , March 27, when collegiate players are scheduled  to work out for NFL coaches and scouts.
        Fifthteen senior players are expected to take part in the event, which will begin at 2 p.m.in the Bull Boys weight room at Dawson Stadium.  Junior's will take part in drills beginning at 12 noon.
         The players will first be measured, and then will take part in standing broad jump, the vertical jump, and bench press in the weight room. When that is completed, they will move to the Willie Jeffries Field located inside Dawson Stadium where the 40-yard dash, the short shuffle, and the three cone drill will take place.
          Following the testing, individual workouts will take place in perspective groups (defensive backs, offensive/defensive lineman, wide receivers/running backs, linebackers and kicker). This event is free to the public and viewing for the on-field portion, will begin approximately 2 p.m.
