Bulldogs Face Aggies In Atlanta Classic

ATLANTA, GA—The South Carolina State Bulldogs will seek their second conference win of the season Saturday, when they face the Aggies of N.C. A&T State in the 25th Annual Atlanta Football Classic at the Georgia Dome.

The game will be televised on ESPNU with a 10:30 p.m. tape-delay and will live on ESPN3 at http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/id/1124177/College-Football-North-Carolina-AT-vs-South-Carolina-State.

SC State is one of four teams to participate in the Atlanta Football Classic in its history along with Florida A&M, Tennessee State and Southern University.

The Bulldogs (3-2 overall, 1-0 MEAC) will face tough a undefeated Aggie (3-0 overall, 1-0 MEAC) team who will look to sweep Pough's team for the second straight year. Last season N.C. A&T State snapped a 11-game losing streak to SC State with a 17-7 victory in Greensboro, NC.

SC State is led by senior quarterback Richard Cue in the air throwing 50-of-97 for 640 yards and five touchdowns. Freshman running back Dondre Brown leads the rushing attack with 58 carries for 266 yards, while running back Justin Taylor is second with 78 rushes for 263 yards and five touchdowns.

Senior linebacker Joe Thomas spearheads the defense with 53 tackles (38 solo), 7 TFL, and 3 sacks. Safety Kimario McFadden adds 33 tackles (26 solo) and 2 TFL.

The Bulldogs will have a quick turn around on next week when they travel to Durham, NC to take on the Eagles of N.C. Central. Kick-off is 7:30 p.m. and will be televised live on ESPNU.
