COLUMBIA, SC-- The South Carolina State Bulldogs (4-9) will battle intrastate rival SEC foe the University of South Carolina (9-3) in a non-conference matchup Saturday at Colonial Life Arena. Tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m. and will be televised live on ESPN3.com

SETTING THE SCENE: The Gamecocks hold the all-time lead, 18-0 over the Bulldogs. SC State enter 's the contest with a 4-9 record, and has played a tough road slate so far this season. Included in SC State's nine losses have been road games against Iowa, Maryland, Missouri and Clemson. The Gamecocks are on a four-game winning streak and knocked off Presbyterian, 76-60 in their last outing.
