ORANGEBURG, SC – After 11 days off from competition, the SC State women’s basketball team will return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 30, when they travel to Durham, NC to take on the Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central.
SC State (4-6) last saw action on Friday, Dec. 18 versus Jacksonville State in the 2009 Hampton Inn & Suites Osprey Holiday Classic, hosted by the University of North Florida. In that outing, the Lady Bulldogs dropped a three point decision, 56-59, to the JSU Gamecocks.
The Lady Bulldogs will be facing a Lady Eagle team who is looking for just their second win of the season. Earlier this season (Dec. 1), SC State defeated North Carolina Central (1-10) in overtime 81-75.
SC State will remain on the road to open the New Year as they travel to Dover, DE and Princess Anne, MD to take on Delaware State (Jan. 9) and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Jan. 11) respectively.
