ORANGEBURG, SC – The SC State men's golf team -- on one of the most difficult courses in the Low Country -- struggled to a sixth-place finish in the 6-team, 54-hole CSU Fall Invitational at the Crowfield Golf & Country Club (Oct. 19-20).

            The Bulldogs carded a 54-hole team total of (395-385-342) 1122 in the event, won by host Charleston Southern with a total of (307-295-297) 899.

            Sophomore Roberto Cacho fired a 54-hole total of (81-77-71) 229 for an 11^th place finish to lead the Bulldogs. Senior Hector Arroyave tied for 30^th in the field of 43 with a 54-hole total of (78-82-79) 239.
