SC State’s hitter Desire Waller has been selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Rookie Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Waller totaled 32 kills, 12 digs and nine blocks, in three matches, to aid the Lady Bulldogs to a 2-1 record last week. She hit 38-percent from the floor, including a career high .583 against Alabama State.
