Senior Marketa Marcanikova finished eighth overall and fourth among Division I women participants at Saturday's Carolina Challenge Cross Country meet hosted by the University of South Carolina at the Sandhill Recreational Center in Columbia. Marcanikova completed the 5K course in a time of 18:58.99, her best opener of her career.
