ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State head coach Buddy Pough will start the 2013 campaign, beginning Monday(Aug. 26) with the Bulldog Football Press Conference.
The weekly press conference will be held at 12 noon, each Monday during the season in the Rowe Hall Conference Room on the campus of SC State University.
Pough who is entering his 12th season at the helm, is 88-39 overall and is the second winningest coach in school history behind legendary coach Emeritus Willie Jeffries.
SC State opens the season Saturday in a home opener against last year's Big South Champion Coastal Carolina at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. Kick-off is 6 p.m.
