ORANGEBURG, SC – Seniors dominated the South Carolina State football awards presented Monday (Feb. 8) during the Orangeburg Touchdown Club’s annual banquet, which also recognized an All-State Football Team and had University of South Carolina associate  head coach and defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson as guest speaker at The Cinema.

ORANGEBURG, SCSouth Carolina State, on Wednesday, announced the signing of twenty-two prospects to national letters. Twelve of the Bulldog signees are from the Palmetto State, seven are from Georgia, two from North Carolina and one from Maryland. Three are from schools not far from the SC State campus.

(Pittsburgh, PA)Five South Carolina State players have been named to American Urban Radio Network 2009 Sheridan Broadcasting Network (SBN) Sports Black College All-American (BCAA) Team, announced recently. The 25-member team is comprised of student-athletes from the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities, who will be honored during the 36th Annual BCAA Awards Weekend February 12-14, 2010, at the DoubleTree Resort Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
