ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State 's morning session of its two-a-day preseason workouts was cut short due to bad weather, with Friday's evening practice being canceled. The Bulldogs worked out for about one hour and thirty minutes in helmets and shells during the morning session in preparation for tomorrow's scrimmage.
The Bulldogs will conduct its second full preseason scrimmage Saturday at 10 a.m. at Dawson Stadium, followed by their annual "Meet Players Day" following the scrimmage.

Due to the chance of rain SC State will hold its annual "Meet the Players Day" Saturday, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center instead of O.C. Dawson Stadium, following a 10 a.m. scrimmage.
The annual event, sponsored by The STATE Club – the Bulldog boosters – will give fans an opportunity to meet the Bulldog players, take pictures, get autographs and have lunch with the players. Most of the activities are free; however, the cost of lunch with the players is $10 for adults and $5 for person's 17-years old and under.
FAN RALLY AT THE SQUARE
South Carolina State and the City of Orangeburg will hold its annual "Fan Rally at the Square" Tuesday, August 20 at 6:30 p.m. Come out and support Coach Pough and the Bulldog's as the Marching 101 and cheerleaders will be present for this fun filled pep rally.
