CALGARY-Former South Carolina State running back Will Ford is making a name for himself in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Ford (5-11, 220) a native of Travelers Rest, SC earned All-MEAC and All-American honors during his career at SC State, while becoming the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) all-time leading rusher with 4,660 career rushing yards from 2006-09.

He also broke the record for the most 100-yard rushing yards in a game per season with eight. The 2008 MEAC Offensive Player of the year, Ford is in his second season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
