WINNIPEG, MB – Former SC State standout Will Ford is one of two players recently added the roster of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. Ford, the Bulldogs' all-time rushing leader, and defensive lineman Youri Yenga of Southern Methodist are on the practice roster, the team reported Monday.

He was named a first-team All-MEAC selection in 2009 one year after taking home the conference's offensive player of the year award. Ford also spent time returning kicks and averaged 26.0 yards per return with one touchdown.
Yenga (6-1, 231, Southern Methodist University, DOB: November 11, 1988 in Euless, Texas) was twice named All-Conference USA at SMU and accumulated 139 tackles, 13 sacks, nine pass knockdowns and seven forced fumbles. Yenga was a force to be reckoned with as a senior, recording 81 tackles, two sacks, six pass knockdowns, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent and recorded two assisted tackles in the preseason before being among the team's final cuts.
