Cue, Glover Earn All-MEAC Weekly Honors

NORFOLK, Va., October 29, 2012 – South Carolina State red-shirt junior Richard Cue was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate sophomore Alex Glover  was named Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday
       The two Bulldog standouts also earned national recognition. Cue was named the MEAC Player of the Week by the College Sports Madness, while Glover was an honorable mention choice as Defensive Lineman of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA).
       Cue (QB, 6-1, 185, r-Jr., Florence, SC) completed 26-of-41 passes for 419 yards with four touchdowns in the Bulldogs' homecoming victory over Howard.  The 419 yards set a school single-game passing record set in 2004.  He also rushed 11 times for 43 yards. 
       Glover (DL, 6-1, 230, So., Charlotte, N.C.) spearheaded the Bulldogs' defense with eight tackles, seven unassisted, including four for a loss of 10 yards and three quarterback sacks in a 34-23 win over Howard.
      Also earning honors, Damon Chisholm of Howard was named the Rookie of the Week.  Nail Muradymov of Delaware State was selected as the Offensive Lineman of the Week while D'Vonte Graham of North Carolina A&T and Tyrone Hendrix of Morgan State were named Co-Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
                                                                                                                   
 Other Top Bulldog Performers
Cortney Ingram (LB, 5-10, 190, Sr.) tallied a game-high 13 tackles
Tevin Richard (LB, 5-11, 200, r-Fr.) totaled 10 tackles, eight solo, in a win over Howard.
