Fuquay-Varina, NC - South Carolina State defensive back Dominique Ellis was named Boxtorow National Player of the Week. The 5-11, Senior from Union City, GA had a huge game in the Bulldogs 26-18 victory over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. Ellis recorded two interceptions, nine tackles (six solo) and one pass breakup in the Bulldogs' 26-18 win over Bethune-Cookman. Both interceptions thwarted Wildcat drives, including his second interception which he returned 55 yards for a touchdown that sealed the victory for the Bulldogs.
