ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State began its in-season practice routine Sunday as the Bulldogs moved closer to their Sept. 4 opener against Georgia Tech in Atlanta ( 1 p.m.). The SC State players began their introductory preparation for the Yellow Jackets, the reigning Atlantic Coast Conference champions.

Coach Buddy Pough's team, which held its second scrimmage and Fan Fest on Saturday, will take Monday off -- the team's regularly scheduled day off during the season. The Bulldogs resume drills Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
