Virginia Beach, Va., August 13, 2010 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced the final 2010 football television schedule Friday with an exciting lineup of competitive MEAC matchups on the ESPN family networks. Two-time defending champion South Carolina State will make two appearances.
The MEAC football televised schedule begins on Sunday, September 5 with the MEAC/SWAC Challenge presented by Disney, featuring Delaware State against non-conference opponent Southern. The game will air live beginning at noon ET on ESPN, ESPN HD and ESPN3.com.
The DSU Hornets will participate in their second conference televised game on Thursday, September 30 when they host the Hampton Pirates at Alumni Stadium in Dover, Delaware. The game will air live on ESPNU beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The two-time defending MEAC Champion SC State Bulldogs will compete in two conference sc televised games with the first matchup Saturday, October 2, against last year's conference runner-up Florida A&M.
The Bulldogs will also be featured on November 11 when they travel to Baltimore, Maryland to compete against Morgan State Universit in the MEAC's final Thursday night televised game. The game will air live on ESPNU with a 7:30 p.m. kick off time.
Bethune-Cookman University and Florida A&M will compete in two conference televised game's including the team's annual matchup, the Florida Classic, on November 20. The game will be played at the Florida Citrus Bowl and will air live on ESPN Classic beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Bethune-Cookman will host North Carolina A&T on Thursday, October 28 at the Kelly Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Fla. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and will air live on ESPNU.

In addition to the listed regular season slate, ESPN will select two wildcard games to be announced at a later date.
