Fuquay-Varina, NC -The Boxtorow/Classics Sports Radio Network Tour returns to Orangeburg 
and the campus of South Carolina State Saturday, Oct. 17, for the big Mid-Eastern Athletic showdown between the Bulldogs and Florida A&M.  The nationally syndicated sports talk show FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW will broadcast live through its Orangeburg affiliate WSSB-FM 90.3 from Noon - 1 p.m.  The Boxtorow/Classics Sports Radio Network tour made a stop in Orangeburg on April 18 during S.C. State's spring football game.

 

During the tour, visitors to the Boxtorow/Classics Sports Radio Network tour booth can register to win prizes and receive giveaways.  Classics Sports Radio Network will also broadcast the FAMU/S.C. State game live beginning at 1:30 p.m. with the pre-game show.  Both are top-ranked teams in both the Boxtorow.com/BASN Division I Coaches and media polls, both presented by Classics Sports Radio Network.  CSRN will once again team up with Jericho Broadcasting to bring audio as well as visuals of the game. Fans will be able to go on line to www.classicsportsradio.com or www.blackcollegesportsnetwork.com to watch the game.  CSRN and Jericho teamed up to bring fans the State Fair Classic on October 3 live from Dallas.

 

FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW host Donal Ware will handle play-by-play duties and Eric Curry will handle color commentary. 

 

FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW is the sports talk show which places major emphasis on HBCU Sports.  The show airs weekly on radio stations around the country and on the Internet Saturdays from 1 - 2 p.m. ET at www.boxtorow.com.  Classics Sports Radio Network launched in 2008 and broadcasts live some of America's biggest HBCU football games and sporting events, including in 2009 the MEAC/SWAC Challenge featuring S.C. State and Grambling, the Southern Heritage Classic, the Atlanta Football Classic featuring Florida A&M and the aforementioned State Fair Classic.

ORANGEBURG, SC – A “Rally at the Square” pep rally was held Tuesday (Sept. 7) to help SC State kick off its 2010 home football season, which gets underway Saturday when the Bulldogs host Mississippi Valley State in a 6 p.m. contest at Oliver C. ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State, Saturday, in a dress rehearsal for its Sept. 4 opener at Georgia Tech, conducted its final preseason scrimmage. The Bulldogs dressed in shells (shorts, helmets and shoulder pads) for the approximately two-hour workout in which the first team earned a 19-2 win over the reserves.
