Feb. 6), in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) doubleheader, which gets underway at 2 p.m. with the women's contest at the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. The men’s game will follow approximately at 4 p.m. The women’s game is designated as the WBCA PinkZone® game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. ORANGEBURG, SC -- The South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs will have a different look when they step on the floor on this Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match-up against the Hampton University Lady Pirates. SC State is among approximately 1,100 schools that have joined forces with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) in an effort bring more awareness to the fight against breast cancer during the WBCA Pink Zone® week. The Lady Bulldogs will be wearing pink uniforms as they support the initiative.

Tallahassee, FL---The SC State women’s basketball team fell to Florida A&M, 53-68, in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match-up in the Al Lawson Center on the campus of Florida A&M.
FAMU (12-7, 4-4 MEAC) opened the game with a 22-5 run. The Lady Rattlers increased its lead to 24-9 before SC State (6-14, 1-7 MEAC) used a 24-4 run to get back into the game.

Daytona Beach, FL—SC State closed the game with a 25-17 run but it wasn’t enough as they fell to Bethune-Cookman, 64-71, in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match-up at Moore Gymnasium.
The first half of the game belonged to Bethune-Cookman, (9-10, 3-5 MEAC), as they jumped out to an eight point lead, 9-1. The Lady Wildcats would go up by as many as 20 points and would enjoy a 16 point lead at the half, 39-23.

It came Monday night as the Columbia native made a layup with 2.9 seconds left to lift the Lady Bulldogs to a 74-73 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference win over visiting Norfolk State.
