ORANGEBURG, S.C. – South Carolina State head softball coach Cheretta Stevenson announced Wednesday the 2016 Fall Softball Schedule. The schedule includes five dates, three on the road and two in Orangeburg.

The Lady Bulldogs will play in three tournaments, beginning this weekend at the University of South Carolina. SC State takes on Presbyterian at 12 p.m. and South Carolina at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25.

On Oct. 2, the Lady Bulldogs play in the Newberry College tournament and take on USC Sumter at 11 a.m. and host Newberry at 1 p.m.

SC State wraps up fall travel with two games at Winthrop University on Oct. 8. The Lady Bulldogs play Belmont Abbey at 1 p.m. and Winthrop at 5 p.m.

The final two dates of the fall include a home doubleheader against Francis Marion on Oct. 16 starting 12 p.m. and an alumni game at 3 p.m. on Oct. 21. For more information on the alumni game, contact Coach Stevenson at Csteven5@scsu.edu or (803) 536-8899.
