COLUMBIA, SC—The South Carolina State men's and women's cross country teams a strong showing at the USC Open Cross Country Meet Wednesday (Sept. 24) at the Weston Lake Recreation Area.Overall the men's team finished second in the Division Category behind The Citadel (15 points) with 50 overall points. Junior Michael Stackhouse was the top performer for the Bulldogs finishing 16
th out of 29 participants with a time of 11:36.48; freshman
James Williams finished 20
th with a time of 12:28. 53; junior Jared Jeter finished 24
th with a time of 13:40.40; sophomore
Elijah Case finished 25
th with a time of 14:07.93 and junior Khrovon Nelson finished 27
th overall with a time of 14:08.59.
On the women's side, the Lady Bulldogs finished in third place overall as a team in the Division Category with 77 points behind host South Carolina (1
st) with 17 points and The Citadel (2
nd) with 41 points.

th overall out of 23 participants with a time of 14:24.47; junior

th with a time of 14:27.61; junior
