ORANGEBURG, S.C. – For the first time since the inception of the Academic Performance Progress Rate (APR) in 2003 all fourteen (14) athletic teams at South Carolina State have met or exceeded the 930 NCAA single-year benchmark as noted in the score report for the 2013-14 academic year.
Softball led the way with a single-year score of 975, followed by women's tennis with 971 and men's cross country with 966. SC State currently has no teams facing post-season bans or other penalties due to poor academic performance.
