Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women's volleyball team posted a 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-19) Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference win over Savannah State on Friday night at Dukes Gymnasium. SC State moves to 2-11 on the season and 2-3 in the MEAC. Savannah State drops to 0-23 and 0-5 in conference play.

Kirby Anderson hit .375 with nine kills, three digs and three total blocks (one solo). Sophomore
Kiana Stone hit .385 and added seven kills, while
Shandice Sluch had season-highs in hitting percentage (.400), kills (four) and matched her season-best of two kills. Senior
Melanie Williams tallied 23 assists, one ace and one dig.
Savannah State Highlights and StatsChinenya Ofodile led the Tigers with five kills, three total blocks (one solo) and two digs. Caitlenn Masoe passed out 14 assists.
Set-By-Set1st: SC State jumped out to an 11-4 lead to start the match, but Savannah State went on a 6-1 run to get within two points (12-10). The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Tigers 13-8 to take the set.
2nd: The Lady Bulldogs led 24-8 late in the set. The Tigers scored five straight points to try to mount a rally, but a kill by Stone sealed the win for SC State and put the Lady Bulldogs up 2-0 in the match.
3rd: The final set was much closer to start. Savanah State had a momentary lead (5-3) after back-to-back Lady Bulldog errors. A Tiger service error broke a 9-all tie and gave the Lady Bulldogs a lead they would maintain for the rest of the set. Another Savannah State service error sealed the win for SC State.
