Day 3 ResultsComplete ResultsGREENSBORO, N.C. – The South Carolina State women's track and field team turned in a 10
th-place finish at the 2014 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Irwin Belk Track on the campus of North Carolina A&T University. The Lady Bulldogs scored 16 points in the meet.
Hampton tallied 154.5 points to win its third straight and 11
th overall MEAC Women's Outdoor title. Florida A&M finished in second place with 115 points, while Norfolk State finished third with 79 points.
Antavia Owens finished seventh and eighth in the 100 meters (11.73) and 200 meters (24.74), respectively.
Tenisha Stanley brought in four points with her fifth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, running a time of 14.39.
Other individual finishers include
Deja Jackson in the javelin (31.11 meters, 102-9) and
Tamara Smith in the 1500 meters (5:00.75).
The 4x100 team of Owens,
Keziah Brown,
Tahje Whittley and
Nyeisha Dease ran a time of 47.31, while the 4x400 team of
Frantia Boudreaux, Whittley, Smith and Dease finished 11
th in 3:55.72.
