ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The SC State softball team will travel to Columbia, S.C. on Wednesday to take on the University of South Carolina in a 6 p.m. contest at Beckham Field.
 
The Lady Bulldogs are 10-21 overall and are currently on a three-game winning streak after winning the series over North Carolina Central 2-1 in last week's Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) showdown.
 
The Gamecocks are 30-17 after dropping two of three games to LSU this past weekend. USC hosts Georgia Southern in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday night before playing SCSU on Wednesday.
