ORANGEBURG, SC---The South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs improved to 7-5 overall, 4-1 in the MEAC after a 5-1 victory over conference foe Savannah State Tuesday at the SCSU Tennis Courts.
The Lady Bulldogs also knocked off ULM (Louisiana Monroe), 4-3, over the weekend in Atlanta, GA.
SC State completely dominating the match with the doubles match being cancelled due to bad weather. The Lady Bulldogs were leading 4-0 at the No.1 spot; 5-0 at the No. 2 spot, and 5-0 at No.3.
In singles women's action, sophomore
Klara Dohnalova def. Angela Bonilla (6-1, 6-0) at the No. 1 spot; junior Alex McDonald def. N. Ollson (6-3,6-3) at No. 3;
Victoriia Khatcei def. Jennyfer Vivas (6-0,6-1);freshman
Intissar Rassif def. Nicole Ashiedu (6-0, 6-1) and freshman
Dakota Brown knocked off Tiffany Williams 6-0, 6-0 to earn the victory.

Hardeep Judge who is in his 13th season at the helm of both the men's and women's tennis programs is approaching is 400
th career victory on both sides. Judge has guided this historic program to 19 MEAC Crowns and nine straight for the women.
South Carolina State will return to action on Saturday (March. 29) against MEAC rival FAMU in Tallahassee, FL. The winner of each match will be in the driver's seat for the top spot in the Southern Division. First serve is 1 p.m.
