HILTON HEAD, SC—The South Carolina State Bulldogs defeated  George Mason, 4-3, in men's tennis action Thursday at the Spring Break Tournament held at the Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, SC.

SC State posted their sixth straight victory and improve to 7-4 overall, 3-0 in the MEAC, while George Mason falls to 5-6 overall, 0-1 in the A-10.

The Bulldogs jumped out to an early advantage claiming the doubles point at the No.2 and No. 3 spots.

In men's single action, freshman Martin Kobza def. Jimmy Lange at the No.2 position 6-4, 6-1; freshman Daniel Vala def. Tanner Baine at the No. 5 position 6-3,6-4 and  at the No.6 position Martin Figura defeated Nick Barker 6-2-6-2.
