SC State finishes 7th at 2013 Winthrop/Adidas Cross-Country Invitational

SC State finished seventh at Winthrop

Rock Hill, S.C. (Sept. 21, 2013) — The SC State men's cross-country team finished seventh this past Saturday at the 2013 Winthrop/Adidas Cross-Country Invitational hosted ted by Winthrop University.

Senior Aaron Worthy, Jr. was the top finisher for SC State, clocking a time of 27:51.63. Senior Seymour Walter finished in 28:43.62 while junior Brandon Lowery finished with a time of 33:58.10 to round out the top three finishers for the Bulldogs. Lorenzo Johnson ran 34:18.28; Christopher Eley clocked 35:19.93 while Graylyn Jefferson closed out SC State's competitors with a time of 41:14.73.

SC State will have one week off from competition before heading to Cary, N.C. to participate in the 5th Robert Shumake HBCU Challenge on Friday, Oct. 4.
