ORANGEBURG, SC – The date and time of the South Carolina State at Georgia State BracketBusters basketball contest at Atlanta, Ga. have been set. The two teams will meet Saturday, Feb. 20, at 6 p.m. at the Georgia State Sports Arena.

            Ticket information and other details can be obtained through the SC State Ticket Office as soon as it becomes available. Interested persons may call 803-536-8579 or toll free 800-298-9157.

            The contest is one of 49 scheduled BracketBusters matchups between NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship hopefuls. SC State is participating in the event for the first time. The game is not among those set to be televised by ESPNU or ESPN2.

            The Bulldogs are 11-8 and 5-3 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, following a 77-62 triumph over Florida A&M at Tallahassee on Monday. Coach Tim Carter’s team returns to action Saturday, when it hosts Hampton in the second game of an MEAC doubleheader that gets underway with the women’s contest at 2 p.m. at S-H-M Memorial Center.
