Orangeburg, SC- The South Carolina State men’s and women’s track and field teams will travel to Gainesville, FL this weekend to compete at the 65th Annual Pepsi Florida Relays. The meet, which is hosted by the University of Florida, will be held this Friday-Saturday, Apr. 3-4 at the Percy Beard Track at the James G. Pressly Stadium on the campus of the University of Florida.
In addition to SC State and host University of Florida, track and field powerhouses Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida State as well as Mississippi, Georgia State, Miami, George Mason, South Carolina and Clemson are scheduled to compete. The meet will also play host to several professional athletes.
The Relays get underway, Friday at 11:30 a.m. with the women’s 1500 meter run and will conclude on Saturday evening with the men’s 4x400 meter relay.
