ORANGEBURG, SC – The SC State men's basketball team will try to run its record to 2-0 Thursday when the Bulldogs host Allen in a 7:30 p.m. contest at S-H-M Memorial Center. Admission is free.

            The Bulldogs are 1-0 on the season following a 56-53 triumph over Erskine last Friday, while Allen brings a 3-1 record to Orangeburg.

            In its win over Erskine, SC State featured balanced scoring with senior swing Jason Flagler and freshman guard Khalif Toombs getting 10 points each, senior Brandon Smalls nine and freshman Jodd Maxey eight. Flagler and Smalls added eight and seven rebounds, respectively.
