ORANGEBURG, SC – The South Carolina State soccer team hopes to avenge one of its six losses Friday when the Lady Bulldogs take on Howard in a 7 p.m. Great West Conference (GWC) soccer match at Washington, DC.

            Coach Glad Bugariu's team is 9-6-2 overall and 2-2 and in third place in the GWC East Division behind NJIT (7-6-1, 4-1) and Howard (4-8-2, 3-1). In an earlier match against Howard at Orangeburg, the Lady Bulldogs lost 2-0.

Bugariu's team, which is bidding for the school's first-ever winning season, is coming off a 3-0 victory over Montreat (NC) College on Monday.
