ORANGEBURG, SC – The SC State soccer team returns to action Friday when Coach Glad Bugariu's team hosts Longwood (Va.) in a 7 p.m. non-conference match at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.

            The Lady Bulldogs, who have established a single-season school record with victories, are 8-5-0 on the season and coming off a 1-0 triumph over NJIT on Oct. 9. The win avenged an earlier 2-1 road loss at Newark, NJ Oct. 2.

            SC State, whose roster features players from throughout the United States, Canada and the Virgin Islands, will be celebrating “Parents' Weekend.”  Approximately 50 parents and relatives of team members will be on hand for Friday's contest as well as the Lady Bulldogs' 1 p.m. Sunday match with Great West Conference foe Howard. On Saturday, the parents and relatives will be treated to a “tailgate reception” and the SC State versus Florida A&M football contest.
