Orangeburg, SC– The SC State women's volleyball team will be among thousands of teams from around the country to participate in DiG PiNK. This year the Lady Bulldogs will hold its DiG PiNK game on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 when they host Coastal Carolina in a non-conference match-up. First serve is set for 6 p.m. in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center on the campus of SC State.

During the DiG PiNK National Breast Cancer Awareness Rally high school and college teams will be promoting Breast health education in the community as well as raising funds to help eradicate Breast Cancer.

 

The SC State women's volleyball team is asking all fans to wear pink to the October 20^th game in support of the initiative. SC State is also asking for all NON SC STATE STUDENTS to make a $5 donation upon entering the game with all proceeds going to Side-Out Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) located in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.
