Orangeburg, SC—SC State male track athlete Allen Hunter was recently honored by the South Carolina Chapter of the National Association Blacks in Criminal Justices (SC-NABCJ).
Hunter, a senior from Abbeville, SC, was awarded the Outstanding Student of the Year by the SC-NABCJ. The award recognizes a criminal justice student who demonstrates leadership, dedication, and contribution to a NABCJ student chapter. Hunter has been a member of SC State's chapter as well as a member the SC State men's track team since his freshman year. He has served as the president of the schools NABCJ chapter the past three years.
