Women's Bowling to Participate in Lady Bulldogs Classic Hosted by Bowie State University

The South Carolina State women’s bowling team will travel to Bowie, MD to participate in the Lady Bulldogs Classic hosted by Bowie State University. The two day tournament will be contested, this Saturday-Sunday, Jan. 26-27, at the AMF Bowling Center in Laurel, MD.

The classic will consist of twenty teams. In addition to SC State and host Bowie State, the field include Fairleigh Dickinson University, University of Maryland - Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Adelphi University, Kutztown (PA) University, New Jersey City University, St. Paul's College, St. Francis (NY) College, Cheyney University, North Carolina Central University, Elizabeth City State University, Hampton University, Delaware State University, Virginia State University, Coppin State University, Sacred Heart (CT) University, Howard University, and Norfolk State University.
The Classic will use a scratch scoring system and will consist of five team games on Saturday and Baker matches on Sunday. Saturday's Baker Match play will begin at 12 noon and Sunday's Team play will get underway at 8:45 a.m. Admission to this event is free.
