SC State Women's Soccer Plays Wofford to a 1-1 Tie

Spartanburg, SC—The South Carolina State women’s soccer team played Wofford to a 1-1 tie in its season-opener held in Spartanburg, SC.

SC State (0-0-1) got on the scoreboard first with a goal by Kelsey Mims in the 9th minute and managed to hold Wofford (0-3-2) scoreless in the first half enjoying a 1-0 lead going into the locker room.

SC State Volleyball Goes 0-2 on Day One of the High Point Radisson Invitational

High Point, NC—The SC State volleyball team went 0-2 on day one of the High Point Radisson Invitational in High Point, North Carolina. The tournament, which is hosted by High Point University, is being played in Mills Center on the campus of High Point University.

Porcher to Em Cee Hall of Fame Banquet

ORANGEBURG, SC – Former South Carolina State All-America defensive lineman and National Football League standout Robert Porcher will serve as Em Cee for the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet set for Friday (Sept. 5) at 7 p.m. at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
