Bulldog Fans,
On behalf of the entire Athletics Department, we want to thank you for supporting our Homecoming 2008 activities.
It just goes to show that our fans are die-hard supporters. Although it rained all day, the rain did not dampen our spirits. The football team recognized and appreciated you staying in the stadium to cheer them on.
Coach Pough, his staff and of course, our Bulldogs continue to march towards an MEAC Championship and certainly all of you are a huge part of that equation. Please continue to come out and support the team dressed in your garnet and blue.
Let’s turn our attention to Youth Day, October 25, 2008 when we take on the Hampton Pirates at 2:00 p.m. As you know, it is always a hard-fought battle against the Pirates, but with your support we know we can be victorious.
Remember, youth tickets are just $10.00, General Admission $20.00 and Reserved $25.00. For more information contact the SC State Ticket Office at 1-800-298-9157 or 803-536-8579. Also, Soccer, Cross Country, Men & Women’s Golf, Volleyball, and Men & Women’s Tennis are still competing. We need you to come out and support them as well. Game Day Parking & Cooking/Tailgating Guidelines
The following guidelines have been established for your safety and to aide in your comfort while attending home games at South Carolina State University. Please review and abide by them. If you have any questions, please call the University Ticket Office at 803-536-8579.
VIP
Fans with VIP Parking Passes access the VIP Parking Lot via GATE 1 at Buckley & Russell Streets. The parking lot is on the right just beyond the gate.
STATE Club
Fans with STATE Club parking passes of any kind access the STATE Club parking areas via GATE 5 at the New Entrance to the campus on US 21 By-Pass. From US 601, travel southeast on US 21 to GATE 5 (on the right).
SEASON PARKING
Fans with Season Parking Passes access Mitchell or Felton Fields via GATE 1 at Buckley & Russell Street. The parking lots are on your left just beyond the gate. Grills, tents and cooking are not allowed on Mitchell and Felton Fields.
GAME DAY PARKING (CARS)
A limited number of GAME DAY PARKING spaces are available in the BATTISTE/TRUTH HALLS PARKING LOT. Fans may access the parking lot behind BATTISTE/TRUTH HALLS at GATE 1A on Russell Street near Dorchester Street. Also, fans may access the BATTISTE/TRUTH HALLS PARKING LOT via the Pinckney Street or the front entrance to the campus and follow the directional signs to the parking lot. Game Day Parking tickets may be purchased at GATE 1A on Game Day at $15.00 a ticket.
GAME DAY PARKING (RVs Other than STATE Club)
A limited number of RV spots are available for ADVANCE purchase at the parking lot behind BATTISTE HALL. RV Parking passes are $150.00 each. Please contact the University Ticket Office at 803-536-8579 for more details. No Game Day purchase of RV spots.
COOKING/TAILGATING
There is no sale of COOKING/TAILGATING PASSES on Game Day. Fans with COOKING/TAILGATING PASSES access Mason Field via GATE 4 at Buckley Street & Goff Avenue. COOKING/TAILGATING PASSES are $100 per game and are available for advance purchase only. No RVs on Mason Field.
Cooking is allowed only in designated areas. This rule will be STRICTLY ENFORCED.
In an effort to encourage more fan support during the game, we are asking that cooking and tailgating be done before and after the game. The Bulldogs need your support.
DJs, loud music and parties are strictly prohibited during the game.

Soliciting that is not sponsored or authorized by the South Carolina State University is prohibited!
