What is Sports Information?
South Carolina State University currently sponsors 17 sports - seven men's programs and ten women's. It is the responsibility of the Sports Information Office to disseminate information on all 17 of those sports, the coaching staff and the student-athletes as well as all members of the SC State Department of Athletics. The Sports Information Office is also responsible for producing sport media guides, maintaining and updating the website information.
Prospective student-athletes should contact the coach of the respective sport in which they are interested. The coach can be reached by going to the staff directory.

SC State University regrets to announce the passing of former SC State volleyball player Erinn N. Phillips. Phillips passed away today in her hometown of Inkster, MI after battling an extended illness. Phillips, 22, was a setter for one season (2007) for the SC State women’s volleyball team.
