ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State University will honor the 2013 Mid-Eastern Athletic Tennis Champions, Bulldogs and Lady Bulldog tennis teams with a “Salute and Send-off” Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the President's STATE Room (Hugine Suites).

Hardeep Judge and the tennis team will be recognized for winning their ninth-straight Mid-Eastern Athletic crown on the women's side, its last nine-of-ten league titles with the men.
The women continue to make history with an overall mark of 17-4 and 6-0 MEAC worksheet, while finishing undefeated in the conference for the ninth straight season. The Lady Bulldogs will battle second-ranked University of North Carolina (25-3) in Chapel, NC, on Friday, May 10, in a 1 p.m. showdown at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
Meanwhile, on the men's side the Bulldogs (16-4) will travel to Knoxville, TN. to play fourth seed Tennessee (22-7) Friday May 10 at 2 p.m., at the Barksdale Stadium, in the opening round with the winner advancing to the second round.

Tickets for the event are $5 for the general public and $3 for students and seniors. Gates will open one hour prior to play on both Friday and Saturday.
