Lady Bulldogs Host Lady Owls In Women’s Tennis Action

ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's tennis team will return to action on Saturday when they host the Lady Owls of Kennesaw State at the SCSU Tennis Courts. First serve is 1 p.m.
        SC State enters the contest with a 6-2 mark, while Kennesaw State is 3-6 on the season. In their last outing the Lady Bulldogs won three straight with wins over NC Central (5-2), Savannah State (4-0), and N.C. A&T State (4-0) in the annual MEAC roundup held in Florence, SC.
         The Lady Owls dropped a tough, 4-3, decision to Troy University on last week. Leading the way for Kennesaw State is Jana Hueckinghaus with a 5-4 singles record, while All-MEAC and nationally-ranked Maria Craciun leads the charge for SC State with a 6-2 overall record.
        South Carolina State will return to action on Monday when they take on Creighton University in a non-conference matchup held in Orlando, FL.
