Lady Bulldogs Face Tough Task Against Nationally-Ranked ECU

GREENVILLE, NC—The South Carolina State women's tennis team will face their toughest task of the season when they take on the Lady Pirates of East Carolina in a 11 a.m. non-conference matchup today at the ECU Tennis Complex.
         The Lady Bulldogs 9-4 on the season will look to knock off the #72 ranked Lady Pirates 10-5 in what will be a much needed victory over SC State. East Carolina has earned the nationally ranking by the (ITA) Intercollegiate Tennis Association for the first time since 2008.
          In ECU's last outing the Lady Pirates defeated Coastal Carolina 5-2, while SC State knocked off George Mason 6-1 on last week.
