SC State Set To Take On Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, TX— The South Carolina State Bulldogs (1-2 overall, 0-1 MEAC) will be looking to snap a two game losing streak Saturday, when they face SEC newcomer the Aggies of Texas A&M (1-1 overall, 0-1 SEC) at Kyle Field.
       The Aggies suffered a tough loss to SEC perennial power Florida (20-17) in their season-opener and bounced back with a big win over SMU 48-3 on last week. Meanwhile, SC State will look to turn things around after a rough 1-2 start. Pough and the Bulldogs never got things going in a tough 56-0 shutout to Pac 12 foe Arizona on Saturday.
      THE?COACHES: SC State's Buddy Pough (SC State '75) is in his 11th season as head coach at his alma mater and owns and 84-35 overall record and a 64-16 MEAC. Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin (Purde'88) is in his first season as the Aggies head coach. He has a 35-18 record as a head coach in 5 years and is 1-1 at Texas A&M.
            The Bulldogs will return on next week when they battle defending MEAC Champion Norfolk State in a pivotal league showdown. Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. and SC State will be celebrating ROTC/YOUTH Day.
