TALLAHASEE, Fla—The South Carolina State Bulldogs (2-5 overall, 1-3 MEAC) will be looking for their second conference win of the season this Saturday , when they battle conference rival the Rattlers of Florida A&M (3-4 overall, 3-1 MEAC) in a pivotal MEAC showdown. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and will be televised on ESPNU with a 10:30 pm. tape-delay.

SETTING THE?SCENE: This will be the 53rd meeting between the two teams in school history dating back to 1930, with the Bulldogs defeating the Rattlers 21-7. In their last outing the Rattlers defeated the Bulldogs, 27-24 in Orangeburg, SC. Florida A&M dominates the series with 31-18 and only two ties. Coach Pough is 9-1 vs.?FAMU. Florida A&M head coach Joe Taylor is 12-7-1 vs. SC State.

THE?COACHES: SC State's Buddy Pough (SC State '75) is in his 11th season as head coach at his alma mater and owns and 84-38 overall record and a 65-19 MEAC. Florida A&M's Joe Taylor (W. Illinios'72) is in his fifth season as FAMU head coach. In 2008, he became the ninth college coach to surpass the 200-career win barrier.
